The Scottish Episcopal Churches

of Mid Argyll & Arran

The feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ is kept as Christ Church's Feast of Title - our Church Holyday.

Christ Church was consecrated on 6th August 1850.

There will be a festal service, to which all our friends are invited. We plan to keep the solemnity with all the festivity we can manage. We hope that this will be a time to celebrate our release from the long times of lockdown. What form these celebrations can take we don't yet know. All plans will be posted here - keep an eye open!

One of the adjoining Sundays will be kept as the Feast of the Dedication of the Church.

The Revd Tim Tunley, Scottish representative of the Missions to Seafarers, will preach at Christ Church for Sea Sunday on Sunday 8th August.
